Gift Soaps
Mom loves pampering gifts and what a great way to present her beautiful homemade fragrance soap to enjoy a luxurious bath. Let's get started! Ingredienents needed:
2 cups of Ivory Soap Flakes
1/4 cup of water
Food coloring
Fragrance or flavor extract
Mix the water, food coloring and extract together. Use as much coloring and extract as you need to get the aroma and color to your liking. Add the soap flakes and mix until its crumbly. Shape the mixture into five balls. Pack balls tightly. Pat and shape the balls so they are smooth. You can lay the soaps in a small basket lined with a piece of fabric, tie a bow to basket and enclose a handmade card.
You can also wrap each ball into sqaure netting and tie with ribbon. Makes a great sachet.
